What I'm loving Wednesday ...

This week's list might get kinda long, so I'm just going to jump right in (there's just too much to love!) ...

I'm loving the fact that for $65 I was able to complete Beatrice Kate's fall/winter wardrobe at a consignment sale last night! We have been very blessed to receive a lot of hand-me-downs from various friends; but now that Bea's a little older those are a little more hard to come by. So, I actually had to break down and buy clothing for my child. And, the best part? I found not one, but two smocked Christmas dresses for her!!

I'm loving that at the same sale, I was able to find this Pottery Barn Kids window sheer for $10 (it's normally near $60!):

I'm loving that I also was able to finish Bea's wall mural from a few weeks ago, complete with a few real bird houses in the branches. You'll have to wait for the final pictures (they're coming soon, I promise!) until I get in her owl appliques to complete the look. I'll just say this until then... it looks Ah-Mah-Zing.

And those owl appliques? Yea, I'm loving these too:
Speaking of Bea's room, I'm loving my inspirational Pins this week for her nursery re-do. I'm really looking forward (and at the same time, crying inside) to turning her room from "baby" to "little girl" functional. These pictures gave me some great ideas to make her space a fun place to play:

I'm loving that I was able to get my haircut this weekend. I didn't go for a super drastic change, but I did get bangs! I know, I know, I'm sooooo mod now. Or not. Whatever. The best part is that the salon was walking distance from our new house and it only cost $35! That's like a third of what I was paying and it's the best haircut I've ever had!

I'm loving Bare Minerals make-up:
It's a little spendy, but it's totally worth it (at least I think so after only a few days of using it). My face feels so much better and it hasn't broken out hardly at all since I switched.

I'm loving that my Dad and step-mom (seriously, we need a better word for this woman!) and Aunt Sue are coming in to town tomorrow. I'm sad and anxious, however, about the reason why: My very first multi-day, overnight trip away from Baby Girl so Casey and I can attend his brother's wedding (which I'm loving, of course). I think I may have a panic attack on the flight to DC but I'm trying to tell myself that it'll be worth leaving for a few days to get a break, and spend quality time with hubby. Someone please tell me that's right. PLEASE.

I'm loving these pictures of my sweet girl and my even sweeter husband (though, he may not appreciate this photo) from Saturday morning. I think it totally captures the incredible bond these two have. I don't talk about it often enough, but my husband? He's freakin' amazing. Like, one-in-a-million amazing. And he's become a fairy-tale father to our baby doll:

And finally, as always, I'm loving our sweet baby girl Beatrice Kate, who apparently thinks that our old dog Arnold is best served as a pillow. She is so lucky this dog loves her more than life. Otherwise... actually who are we kidding, he's not going to do anything regardless. He's too old. He may not even realize she's there:
Hope everyone is having a great week. What's on your list this Wednesday?

  1. "Arnold's a pillow. He's a pet. He's a pillow-pet!" Pennsy's been practicing that with the nieces and nephew... I had to keep reminding them she was real and they couldn't pull her legs out of the way! =) Glad he's patient!

Can't she stay in the crib until she graduates college? Prob not. Anyways - love all the pics you posted as inspiration!
