Of course this month we have the added bonus of The Dollar Diet, so whatever we get; we're eating. Regardless of our preferred tastes. I like to think of it as an Iron Chef-like challenge, with continually rotating "secret ingredients".
This "eat what you're given" attitude does not apply for Beatrice Kate, who for the past week, has decided she would not like to eat anything but cantaloupe and Cheddar Bunnies. But that's another post for another day.
So enough small talk, what did we get this week?
- 2 Covington Sweet Potatoes
- 3 Starburst Tomatoes
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 1 bag of "specialty lettuce" (Field Greens)
- 1 lb. of strawberries
- 1 large bunch of kale
We didn't have this problem with the strawberries... they're nearly half gone already and we haven't had them in the house for 24 hours. Next week, we may have to institute rations.
